Seriston Pastoral

Seriston is a four and a half thousand acre property owned and managed by Anthony Hurst. Seriston today runs 500 white Suffolk stud ewes, 150 stud Suffolk ewes, 1500 commercial ewes, 400 shorthorn cows, 100 angus cows.
Seriston also trades around 1000 cattle a year and feedlots up to 16,000 prime lambs.

Seriston has evolved from the Lake Hawdon family enterprise established by Ken Hurst in the late 1940’s. Lake Hawdon is still renowned for their short horn cattle and prime lamb production.

Seriston Suffolk’s and White Suffolk’s produce 300 stud and commercial rams annually. Seriston beef produces 400 weaners annually for the retail, backgrounding and restocker markets.
